Max Vilenchik, Esquire
Max Vilenchik is a New York and New Jersey-licensed attorney with experience in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, Business and Commercial transactions, Employment, and Matrimonial Law.
Before joining Cooper & Associates. Max served as General Counsel for small businesses, providing legal counsel on issues related to corporate and employment law matters, intellectual property maintenance, real estate, and other commercial transactions. Mr. Vilenchik also worked as a legal intern for such major fashion and entertainment companies as Burberry, the Harry Fox Agency, and FilmNation Entertainment.
A graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he earned a concentration in the school’s highly ranked Intellectual Property program, Mr. Vilenchik’s note on trademark litigation was selected for publication in the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution.
While at Cardozo, Mr. Vilenchik was a member of the Cardozo Labor and Employment Law clinic, where he provided legal counsel to low-income workers in the New York City area and advocated on their behalf at administrative law hearings during the most difficult years following the 2008 recession.
Mr. Vilenchik received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University, graduating magna cum laude with majors in Economics and Political Science and with a minor in the renowned Shepherd Poverty Studies Program. As an undergraduate Mr. Vilenchik was selected to participate in the Public Defenders Service for D.C. internship program, one of the nation’s most sought-after and prestigious legal internship placements.
